Competitions

The Miniature Internationals

The Miniature Internationals is an annual competition between the Bowling Associations of the London Welsh, London Scottish and the London Irish.  The outdoor competition started in 1961 to be followed in 1978 by the indoor competition.  Those selected to play in the this competition are presented with the Miniature International Badge. The Barr Trophy

Jim Barr was a former President of the Irish Bowling Association, and and fervent supporter of the the London Irish Bowling Association.  The trophy named in his honour is presented annually to the Irish four with the highest aggregate score on the day of the Miniature Outdoor International.  For more information click here

 

Singles Championship

The Singles Championship is held throughout the outdoor season, with the Semi Finals and Finals being held on a single day towards the end of the season in September.  For more information click here.

 

Captains Invitation Day

Started in 1975 and usually held in late September, this game is perhaps the most carefree of the season with varying results never affecting the enjoyment in the Clubhouse afterwards.  For more information click here.
